Refund policy

RETURN, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

All obligations under this policy are managed by Somya Garg Art, GST-registered, operating under the brand SGA.


Returns & Exchanges

Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of original artworks, all sales are final once payment has been credited. Returns or exchanges are not accepted.

Each artwork is individually created, documented, and prepared specifically for the collector. Returns based on personal preference, subjective interpretation, or change of mind are not permitted.

Collectors are encouraged to review artwork details carefully and may contact SGA at hisomya@somyagargart.com for questions prior to requesting an invoice.


Damages, Loss & Transit Issues

All artworks are carefully packed and insured for their full declared value prior to dispatch.

Collectors should inspect the artwork immediately upon delivery. In the rare event that an artwork is damaged or lost during transit

  1. Notify SGA within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Provide clear photographs and unpacking documentation via email.

  3. The issue will be assessed in coordination with the courier and insurer.

  4. Once confirmed, the insurance payout will be used to process a refund in accordance with this policy.


Refund Policy

Refunds are applicable only under the following circumstances :

  • The artwork is lost during transit.

  • The artwork is damaged during transit and confirmed by the insurer.

In such cases:

  • The insured amount (up to the declared value) will be refunded via bank transfer.

  • Processing timelines may vary depending on insurance claim resolution.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference.

  • Subjective dissatisfaction.

  • Color, texture, or surface variations inherent to original artworks.

  • Delays caused by customs or courier partners beyond SGA’s control.

All other sales are final.


Cancellations

Once an invoice has been issued and payment credited, orders cannot be cancelled.

Cancellations are not permitted as:

  • Insurance is arranged.

  • Packaging and logistics are initiated.

  • The artwork is reserved exclusively for the collector.

Collectors are advised to review all artwork details carefully before confirming payment.


Shipping & Responsibility

  • Artworks are dispatched only after payment confirmation.
  • Delivery is conducted via reputed courier partners with signature-required delivery.

  • SGA is not responsible for incorrect shipping details provided by the collector.

  • International collectors are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import regulations applicable in their country.
