ELEPHANT KINGDOM

This is an abstract artwork titled ‘Elephant Kingdom’ made on 16" X 20" stretched canvas using Acrylics.

As the name suggests, a great number of elephant heads can be seen in this artwork.

The beautiful thing about this artwork is that the day Somya Garg laid down her brush strokes was Ganesh Chaturthi’s last day. If you aren’t aware about it, Ganesh Chaturthi is an Indian festival that Indians celebrate to worship Lord Ganesha for 10 days straight by offering him his favourite sweets, garlands and much more. Somya Garg believes in him, worships him and loves him the most. When she was laying down her brush strokes in her final attempt, those brush strokes appeared to her as elephant heads. She was awestruck and felt grateful for the way it turned out which is way better than she imagined it to be & then she decided to name this artwork as “ELEPHANT KINGDOM”.

The artwork is having a high gloss finish to it in order to enhance its longevity and appearance.
